Hi Bloggers! In this section of the book you are introduced to the problem that Mrs. Frisby faces. Please answer the questions below.

1.) What major problem does Mrs. Frisby face?

2.) How do you think she will solve this problem? Use evidence from the book to support your thinking.

3.) How does the Owl's behavior towards Mrs. Frisby change when he hears that she is the widow of Jonathon Frisby? Why do you think that is?

1.Mrs. frisby's problem is timothy is sick and she has tomove soon or they all die.If they move too soon timmothy will die.
    2. I think the rats are going to help in some way but I don't know how.she heard from the owl that they can help and I think she is going because they are her only chance.
3.He is more willing to help her because they probably had some kind of partnership.
4.first the owl says to maybe sacrafice 1 not all for sure. then he says to ask the rats that she saw earlier.
5.I think the rats have some kind of weired or mystierious magic.

    1. I think that the major problem Mrs. Frisby had to face was that Timothy had pneumonia and can not get out of bed until three weeks. But the family has to move in five days or if they don't they will get run over by a plow. But if Timothy gets out of bed too soon he could die. There is a risk in both ways of trying to help Timothy and his family.
    2. I think Mrs. Frisby will listen to the owl and go talk to the rats and try to get a solution for her son Timothy.
    3. I think that the owl changed his behavior when Mrs. Frisby told him that she was married to Jonathon Frisby because maybe that all of the other animals told the owl that Jonathon was a very nice mouse and maybe he saved a life like Mrs. Frisby did with the crow Jeremy.
    4. The owl said to Mrs. Frisby that she would have to do the right thing that she thought she should do and she had to do what was good for her family. But then he told her that she could go to the rats and see what they could do to help.
    5. I think the rats will help make a home close to where they lived just not where the plow could run them over. Or maybe the rats would help move their home into a safer spot before the five days are over and the plow comes through the garden.

1] The problem is that Timothy is recovering from pneumonia and can't get out of bed or he will catch pneumonia again and next time he may not be so lucky. But Timothy may get killed by the plow which farmer Fitzgibbon owns is going to crush their house and maybe timothy, so Mrs. Frisby has to decide what to do.

2] I think that Mrs. Frisby will try and ask Justin and Nicodemus if they could move the house, because the owl, who is supposed to be the wizest animal in all the forest, if some other animal told Mrs. Frisby, she might not do it, but since she has heard so many good things about the owl she will trust him, for now.

3]When Mrs. Frisby says her name the owl asks her if she is realated to Jonathan Frisby, who supposedly did something that no mammal could do, so if he could acomplish so much than there is no telling what his dear wife could accomplish, including saving her entire family from the plow. I am not sure what excacly he did but whatever it was it must've been a hard goal to reach, we may hear about it agin later.

4] Orriganally the owl told Mrs. Frisby to wrap him up in very warm blankets and hope for warm weather, but when she reveils her name he says to talk to the rats, Justin the gaurd and Nicodemus the leader, who live in the rosebush to move her house to the lee of the stone which is out of the way of the plow, so they will be safe, i don't quite know what the wind has to do with it, i guess we will findout later.

5] ki think that the rats will burrow underneath the house and maybe puch out or use some sort of magic or use some sort of tool to prop it out of the ground and then carry or use the tools/magic again to move it to the lee of the stone, the spot of which the wind does not reach.

    1. Mrs.Frisby's son Timothy is sick and can't get out of bed for 3 weeks and if he does get out of bed he will get even more sick and die. The tractor is out and if Mrs. Frisby's family doesn't move somewhere in 5 days the whole family will die.

    2. I think Mrs. Frisby will solve the problem by going to the rats and seeing if they will move her house. The evidence that I found in the book that helped me was that the owl said to go to the rats and they will move your house.

    3. I think the owls relationship to Mrs .Frisby changed because Jonathon probably helped other animals and tried to do as much as he could.

    4. First the owl tells Mrs.Frisby to take Timothy to a different place or stay where they are and let everyone die. Then when the owl finds out that she is Jonathon's wife he tells her that the rats might be able to help her and move her house for her.

5.I think the rats know the owl really well so they have a lot of knowledge from he.
