Page 93-150
Hi Bloggers. Please begin by reading pages 93-150. When you are done, I would like you to post two open ended questions for your reading partners to answer. Remember that open ended questions ask for peoples thoughts and feelings on a subject. You will need to then answer three questions from your group mates. Please post your questions for Wed. and answer them by group time on Thursday.

Hi Bloggers! In this section of the book you are introduced to the problem that Mrs. Frisby faces. Please answer the questions below.
1.) What major problem does Mrs. Frisby face?
2.) How do you think she will solve this problem? Use evidence from the book to support your thinking.
3.) How does the Owl's behavior towards Mrs. Frisby change when he hears that she is the widow of Jonathon Frisby? Why do you think that is?
4.) What advice does the owl give Mrs. Frisby?
5.) How might the rats help?

Welcome to our newest blog! I hope you enjoy this book and blogging as much as you did Island of the Blue Dolphins. You will not actually receive your book until our next meeting, however today I would like you to share your thoughts about three questions:
Imagine what life would be like if animals had human intelligence. What might happen if animals could think, talk and act like people.
1.) Tell what pets such as dogs and cats might do.
2.) Describe how life on a farm or in a zoo would be different than the way it is now.
3.) How might life change for field animals like rabbits, mice and rats?
